We donated medicines on Feb 11, 2009 to an elderly gentleman named Mr. Praveen Chandok.
He has been suffering from varicose ulcers on his right foot for the last 5 years - the wound was 3 inches deep and by the looks of it, we saw an imminent amputation in a few months to a year.
This gentleman, once affluent and a productive member of the society had fallen in bad times - he was abandoned by his family - most importantly the allopathic medicines, which he couldn't afford anyway - were not doing him any good.
Even though our digitizing work from Jan 2009 just about covered our basic expenses, we spent close to USD50 for his medications.
We are looking for sponsors for medicines - we will meet the sponsors half way.
Any sponsor who donates USD100 for the medicines will get 5 designs of any size digitized for their generosity - this will ensure that we will buy the medicines worth $50 without worrying about covering our business expenses to buy medicines.
